
Red Rock ScreenDance Film Festival is an international festival of dance-film platform in conjunction with Red Rock Dance Festival, hosted by St George Dance Company, in the Greater Zion Area.
The film festival is in its third year, while the dance festival is in its 15h year. For the 2021 premier of this dance film festival, worldwide entries were submitted, with winners as far away as Australia! The film festival is hosted at Utah Tech University, in St. George, Utah. Accepted film submissions for 2023 will be screened at the UT Eccles Mainstage Wednesday, May 31st & Thursday, June 1st at the Electric Theater. ScreenDance finalists will show along with live choreography finalist on Saturday, June 3rd, 7:30 p.m. The final screening is located at UT Eccles Main Stage Theatre. We accept short dance films of live dance action. Before submitting, please remember we are specifically a festival of dance-film, and do not show non-dance related film.

Jenny Mair, Red Rock Screen Dance Film Festival Director
Jenny is an interdisciplinary international dance artist, and pursues her artistry through various venues, including choreography, teaching, and dance film. She enjoys sharing her dance experiences with students and the inspiring associations gained through teaching. She received an MFA in Dance Performance & Choreography from the University of Hawaii, at Manoa, a graduate dance scholarship recipient. She currently works at Dixie State University in the Dance Program, receiving a nomination for the ‘Distinguished Instructor Award’, and is the Director of Red Rock ScreenDance Film Festival. She has also taught at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Southern Utah University, and B.Y.U. She performed with Theatre Ballet, Rocky Mountain Ballet, and Deseret Dance Theater, and was invited to take contemporary classes with Ririe-Woodbury Company for three years. She teaches and choreographs internationally, having presented/performed/taught master classes in ballet & contemporary dance styles in Greece, Belgium, Italy, France, Hawaii, and Western U.S.
She is published as a choreographer with I Am in the A’Corps Festival (2014, Poitiers, France), Re-Newal Red Rock Dance Festival (2019, Utah), Of Love & Duty (2021) & Cleopatra (2019) Shakespeare Festival (Utah), with the St. George Dance Company (2016-2021), and DSU Faculty Concerts (2016-2021).
She was the Artistic Director of Florence Dance On Screen in Florence, Italy (2021),
and is published as a dance film maker with Controversial Convergence, which most recently was invited to be screened at FLICKFAIR International Film Festival (2022). This dance film also took 2nd place in Concorso Danza Onstage in Florence, Italy (Feb. 2021) & was and officially selected in Desertscape International Film Festival (2021).
